Most of the apartment buildings at Breakfast Point have a shared loading dock at basement level, with a goods lift that has to be booked in advance through the strata manager. The dock times are often limited to business hours and may only allow one move at a time. If the building gives you a three-hour window, we size the truck and crew to finish within it so you do not run over and lose your slot.
The townhouses along the waterfront have street-level garages but limited kerbside parking for a truck. We ask about both addresses before we quote so we can match the truck to the dock access or the kerb space, and plan the carry from the loading point to your front door.

Questions about moving at Breakfast Point
Do I need to book the loading dock before I book the removalists?
Yes. Most strata buildings at Breakfast Point require you to reserve the loading dock and the goods lift through the building manager or strata committee. Once you have the time window, give it to us and we size the truck and crew to fit. If your building allows only a three or four-hour slot, we plan to finish within it.
Can you move furniture through a goods lift with low clearance?
Yes. Some of the apartment buildings at Breakfast Point have goods lifts with lower clearance than a standard lift. We check the dimensions before the move and, if a tall wardrobe or a fridge will not fit standing up, the crew tilts or dismantles it to clear. Knowing the lift size in advance is the simplest way to avoid delays on the day.
What if my apartment settlement is delayed and I need to leave my current place?
We hold your load in our climate-controlled storage facility under 24-hour surveillance and deliver when the new apartment is ready. Settlement delays on new builds at Breakfast Point are common, and the load stays together so there is one delivery, not multiple trips.
Can you move a single heavy item into a Breakfast Point apartment?
Yes. Fridges, pool tables and pianos are quoted as their own item based on the weight, the building access and the floor the apartment is on. A single-item job still needs the goods lift booked and the loading dock time reserved, so let us know the building rules when you call.
Is there a minimum booking time for a move at Breakfast Point?
We quote each job on its own, and the minimum depends on the truck and crew size. A small apartment move in a building with a smooth loading dock and a fast lift can be done in under two hours. We do not pad the quote, so you only pay for the time the crew is actually working.
