Can you park a truck on Church Street or Swan Street for a move?
Both streets have clearway and parking restrictions during peak hours. We check the rules for your move time and usually park on a side street closer to the house. If your place fronts one of the main roads, tell us and we plan the truck position and loading time around the restrictions.
How do you get furniture through the narrow hallways of a Victorian cottage?
We measure the hallway and doorframes before we start and dismantle beds, tables and wardrobes that will not fit through as a whole piece. Everything is blanket-wrapped and plastic-covered first, and the crew angles large items to clear tight turns without marking the walls.
Does the railway line that splits Cremorne affect truck access?
It can. The railway to South Yarra divides the suburb, and not every side street crosses it. We ask which side of the tracks your place is on so we approach from the right direction and avoid a long loop around via Punt Road or Church Street.
