Removalists Clyde North

New-estate moves south-east of Melbourne, charged by the hour.

Fresh concrete, builder traffic and moving-day surprises

Clyde North is 46 kilometres south-east of the CBD, deep in the City of Casey growth corridor. Most of the housing is less than ten years old, spread across estates off Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Soldiers Road, Thompson Road and the St Germain development along Bells Road. Streets look wide on a map, but construction traffic, temporary fencing and unfinished footpaths can block the obvious parking spot on move-in day. Our Clyde North removalists check site conditions before the truck leaves so the crew does not waste your hours sorting out access on arrival.

The price runs by the hour. Local rates start from $75 per half hour for a two-person crew and a 20 cubic metre truck, and the full list by truck size is on our removalist prices page.

Why the estate layout shapes the quote

Clyde North is very car-dependent, and arterial roads carry heavy traffic at school times. Berwick-Cranbourne Road backs up at the Thompson Road roundabout, and Pattersons Road carries heavy traffic on its eastern stretch through developing land. Inside the estates, houses sit close together with narrow side gates that make it difficult to carry a fridge or lounge suite around the side of the house.

Tell us about the access at both addresses when you call. If the new place is still surrounded by building works, we factor that in. If the old home has a double garage wide enough to stage furniture, that usually trims loading time compared with carrying everything through the front hallway and down the path.

Protection, packing and the drive across

Blankets, plastic and straps go on every item. Beds and dining tables are taken apart at the origin and rebuilt at the destination as part of the service. The crew supervisor sets loading sequence and inspects the protection before the tailgate closes.

We carry public liability and transit insurance on the job. Boxes, paper and tape are available if you prefer to pack yourself, or add a full packing team to handle the kitchen and wardrobes the day before. Well-packed, sealed boxes also stack faster on the truck, which trims the hours on moving day.

The south-east corridor and interstate connections

Berwick-Cranbourne Road links to the Princes Freeway interchange, putting a Sydney or Canberra truck on the M1 and then the Hume heading north. Adelaide loads travel west along the Princes instead. You can book a dedicated truck with a set delivery day, or share a backload and pay only for the cubic metres your furniture takes up.

If your new interstate home is not ready when you need to leave Clyde North, we hold everything in our climate-controlled storage facility with 24/7 surveillance and deliver once you get the keys. That covers a short gap between settlements or a longer wait while a new build finishes at the other end.

Get a quote for your Clyde North move

Tell us both addresses, bedroom count, any oversized pieces like a piano or pool table, and whether either end has stairs, a tight side gate or construction out the front. We respond with a recommended truck and a price. No cost, no obligation.

Preparation cuts the clock. Sealed boxes, cleared paths and a parking space saved for the truck are the simplest way to keep hours down. If you are moving into a new-build, check whether the builder has left enough kerb space for a tailgate to drop. Phone 1300 724 553 or message us through the contact form and we will price the job.

Why Clyde North families choose us

Hourly rate, no guesswork

The rate is set by the truck and crew the job needs, quoted once we see the access, so you know the price before anyone lifts a box.

Built for new-estate access

Construction zones, narrow side gates and freshly poured driveways are normal in Clyde North. We check conditions and plan the carry before the truck leaves.

Trained crews, supervised moves

Every crew is trained by us and led by a supervisor who sets the loading sequence and inspects the protection on every item.

Wrapped and strapped, every item

Blankets, plastic and ratchet straps go on every piece of furniture before the truck moves, so the new lounge and the kids' beds arrive without a mark.

Clyde North moving questions

Removalists loading a truck outside a new home

How do construction zones in Clyde North affect moving day?

Temporary fencing, builder skips and unfinished kerbs can block the spot a truck needs to park. Let us know if either address has active building works nearby and we check access beforehand. If the kerb is not finished, the crew sometimes parks on the next completed section and carries from there, which adds a few minutes but avoids a truck getting stuck on soft ground.

Is Berwick-Cranbourne Road busy enough to change the timing?

Yes, particularly around the Thompson Road roundabout during school hours and weekday peaks. If both addresses sit either side of that stretch, starting early or mid-morning after the peak can trim the drive between the two. We account for local traffic patterns when quoting.

Can large furniture fit through the narrow side gates in Clyde North estates?

If the side gate is too narrow for a fridge or lounge, the item goes out through the front door or the garage. We ask about gate width when you call so the crew plans the best route. In most Clyde North project homes the internal garage door opens wide enough to stage oversized items for a straight carry to the truck.

Do you handle single heavy items like a pool table in Clyde North?

Yes. Pool tables and pianos are each quoted as a separate line because the weight and shape demand additional crew members and the right gear. Tell us the dimensions, the room it occupies and any turns or stairs along the exit path, and we size the team around it.

What storage is available if my new Clyde North home is delayed?

We collect your goods, keep them together in our climate-controlled storage facility under 24/7 surveillance, and deliver once the house is handed over. That suits a gap between settlements, a delayed builder handover, or a longer wait while fitout work finishes.
