Moving in a city that keeps growing
Geelong sits 75 kilometres south-west of Melbourne at the western end of Corio Bay, and the city has grown well past its waterfront core. A move in Newtown or Chilwell means narrow streets lined with Victorian workers’ cottages and steep front steps. Out at Armstrong Creek and the new estates south of Waurn Ponds, the roads are wide but builds come in stages and a driveway may not be finished yet. On the Bellarine Peninsula, moves to Queenscliff, Drysdale or Ocean Grove mean a longer drive from Geelong proper, and we build that into the quote. Some of the older beach houses sit on sandy blocks with limited truck access, and we plan the carry around that.
The Princes Freeway and interstate loads

The truck parks on the street and the crew carries across the footpath. We check the parking and the distance before quoting so the time is accounted for. If the house has rear lane access we can use that instead.
Do you move to the Bellarine Peninsula from Geelong?
Yes. Queenscliff, Drysdale, Ocean Grove and the other Bellarine towns are within our local area. The driving time is built into the quote, and we plan for sandy blocks and older beach houses where truck access is tight.
Can you move to a new estate at Armstrong Creek where the roads are still being finished?
Yes. We work on new estates around Armstrong Creek and south of Waurn Ponds regularly. If the driveway or road is unsealed, we check conditions before the day and plan around them. The crew brings boards to protect new landscaping when needed.
Can you move us from Geelong to Melbourne or interstate?
Yes. The Princes Freeway connects Geelong to Melbourne in about an hour by truck. For interstate moves to Sydney, Canberra or Brisbane, the load goes via Melbourne and picks up the Hume. You can take a dedicated truck or share space and pay for the room your furniture uses.
Do you store furniture if the new house is not ready yet?
Yes. We hold your goods in our climate-controlled storage facility with 24/7 surveillance and deliver when you have the keys. That covers a gap of a few days between settlements or several months while you build or renovate.
Can you move a piano or pool table in Geelong?
